1. Trim the wick to 6mm (1/4 inch) inch before every use to prevent smoking and carbon mushrooming. The wick on soy candles should be a bit longer about 9mm (1/3 inch).
2. Do not move or leave candles unattended while burning.
3. Burn in a draft free area clear of burnable materials such as curtains, books, baskets, etc.
4. To ensure complete burn, burn 4 hours at a time. This allows the burn pool (molten wax) to cover the candle completely and prevents pitting in the middle.
5. Keep lit candles safely out of reach of children and pets.
6. When burning multiple candles, space them apart while lit to prevent uneven burning.
7. Keep the burn pool clean; never throw matches or the trimmed wick pieces into the candle.
8. Keep candles out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
9. Always place candles on or in a non-combustible, heat-resistant base set on a level stable surface.
10. Do not store candles in the freezer. Do not leave them in a hot car.
11. Soy candle containers may be cleaned by washing them gently in cool water. Allow to air dry completely before lighting.
